I'm not entirely sure as to what you want me to say about this. While the scene itself is a bit bland to me, the work you put into this is what impresses me the most. The lighting is good and the costume is very well made. OK, here's and Idea. If you wanted to come of as a soldier resting from a hard fight, make it look like you were just fighting. Get sweaty, through some dirt on your face, something in that range. On the same note, if he's at camp look like your at camp. Grab some bread and a cloth, sharpen your sword. Does that help?
What do you think?

Wow - you made this? *Incredible!* I like the details a whole lot, but.... maybe the difference between cosplay and something that tells a story and is immersive is realism... like if there was aging/dirt/sweat/costume breakdown and other things that happened to the costume and the character that tells a story as well? Maybe if the hair/clothes weren't so perfect and clean? Just my two cents as an amateur who *knows nothing about cosplay*

Ha that was one of my early costume sooo I didn't do... Much in it. ^^"
Sorry for the desapointment =p
In fact the aging / dirtyness of a costume depend a lot on what the character have to be ^^
It's not alwayyys needed that much, or needed at all.

For this exemple... Well Could have been dirtier, yes.
Or not.
Just depend on were you put the setting. Is it an outpost? Is it near to the main city and so, well equiped in many things for clean clothes and men?

Depend on what you wanna indicate =)
