I'd like to say first off, that I really like the design of this shield! I has a strong sense of simplicity and has a great balance of colors. The metal center really draws you into it. The outer ring is really interesting as well. I can see that a lot of hard work and time was done into creating this awesome shield. Everything looks well put together and I feel that you should feel pretty darn proud of yourself! I'd be interesting in seeing some photos of a character actually using this shield! Once again, well done on the design! :)

I know that I've commented on some of your props before, but I just have to say that making shields is pretty tough! You've certainly done an amazing job with these and they definitely look durable enough that they should last you a long while. I definitely think that you prop work is amazing, and you should certainly continue making better and better props! I mean, if I needed something like this for a cosplay, this would be worth purchasing! You've done a great job yet again, and I definitely think that you've got a talent for pulling off such fantastic work.

Je sais XD Je me suis mal exprimé mdr...

Sorry, I meant "rookie" XD Forgive my English :/

I meant rookie, because even though they seem being quite resistent, they're so small that remainds me of a young boy learning to be a knight some day :) And then I connected with Link because he's the most loved rookie knight ever XD

And here is his shields: [link] I know they have a huge difference but it came out in my mind XD , I guess they would be perfect for Link's first adventures ^^

Okay, no problem =)

They are for civil kind of fight, not war, and are a big part of the learning in fight during the late middle age =)
And the ycan be part of the training for a future knight, but that won't be a stuff used in war by knights ;)

So can be good for few fight as Link does yep ^^

You have these painted very simply. If these were used in public discourses (re: duels to fight over a disagreement), I would think they'd have a bit more than the simple paint job. Maybe the mark of the church, the town's coat of arms, or a simple pattern such as a chain.

I guess I should look them up and see what history says of these mini-shields.

yep for public iscourses, indeed. =)
And we see that they are really simple on the medieval images ^^
But I won't say that none of them have never been painted like that.
