Je connais ce genre de problème, la machine agonisant avant la fin d'une pièce... Moment de tragédie et de pleurs, surtout quand tu vois le prix d'une bonne singer.
Et merci pour le badge, grâce à toi, j'ai un lama albinos. Yeah ! :ahoy:

I am a vegetarian. I LOVE animals. but those of you who are preaching against the coat being made from animals seriously gives us vegetarians a really bad name. I mean, come on, no, I personally would not kill an animal and would not wear a fur coat. but I also can't say for sure that there's NOT something in my house made from an animal. if people wanna eat meat, I say, go find the best fuckin steak house you can. if you wanna wear fur, well, I don't have a say now do I? if meat eaters/fur wearers don't try and preach to us, we have to right to preach to them. so stop complaining about what it's made of and just admire the design and stuff. I mean, you don't preach to a lion for eating a gazelle, do you?

on a note to the artist, this is indeed very beautiful and well done. I apologize for my little rant above >_>

seriously! I mean, it's different if say, you killed a dear for fun and left the corpse there, but if it's not poaching and you're gonna use the recources from the animal, then... c'mon, it's nature. I think some people fail to remember that humans are animals too

you are the nicest vegetarian i have ever met...and boy...i have had a run down with loads of them.

Synthetic furs are horrible for the environment..i refuse to use any synthetic furs in my house...i only like the real stuff and plus mine is all hunted by me or local hunters . over here we have major pest problems and 99% of the hunters leave the pelts to waste so i pay money for the pelts and salvage them so people can use them.

I have like one coat with synthetic fur, but ya know, it's a cute jacket. just has a collar of it though, not much. and most of my wigs are synthetic, but that's a cost issue. human hair is MEGA expensive

No problem

I have to face .. since years... people wich think they are better than me or smarter.. because they are vegans, eat stamped "organic" food...
But thoses people don't have a garden, wear sinthetic clothes, fake fur...
If only they know how much plastic and petrol products kills....
Also organic is not a quality, it's rules, searching for quality... you can have awesome products.. without being "organic" (because you have to paid for be stamped organic too.. but you also have the right to use chimical, even if you're organic.. WTF)

Anyway. I have "vegans friends", some wear leather, some other eat fish, eggs...
Well I see many reasons.. And I have friends with good reasons, and wich are not all the time fuking people mind ^^

Thansk for understanding ^^ ;)

This looks incredibly soft and warm. Might I ask what is 'savage silk'?

Out of curiosity, when you sew such soft leather, do you use gloves & canvas thread? I've thick callouses on my hands due to not liking how sloppy gloves feel when sewing/crafting.

Shit this is "wild silk" XD > go edit the Deviation

A kind of silk, simply ;)
More on wikipedia I guess ^^
This silk is less regular, and sometime harder than the "regular silk", for what I know =)

I use leather needle, pliers/tongs and my hands x)
and sometime I wear mitens, for hard leather sewing, and with waxed linen thread.
The thread here is just linen.

Oooh, I see now about the silk.

And yeah pliers are great! Though mine keep scratching up the wire/needles. I use my leather more for sculptures than wearable outfits, but it's still a pain to sew with.

Cheers^^

If you do not have one animal-based item in your house I'd be amazed & congratulate you on your ability to live without impacting the world from that angle.

However, if you have syntheti,c non-sustainable items in your house (ie, plastics, polyester, polymers, etc) then I think you need to look around & see what's really hurting the animals in the long-term. Might want to look up 'oil sands' for best effect.^^

I make every attempt to hurt as few living things as I possibly can in life, and spend my time trying to make this a better world. I get tired of walking that road almost alone much of the time.

As for the poisoning of this planet and the animals on it, including us.....I agree more than you'll ever know. To me it's criminal and with intent we hurt so much and ruined so many.

Cancers of every type, and disease of the nerves and mind, that never were even known until lately because they didn't exist until we started polluting everything we touch.

The difference between you and me is this I think; because now I see your not such a bad uncaring person as I thought. I feel every life is the most valuable, and nothing is more important than the one in front of me at the time, so I don't view it like you do, that it's okay for me to kill a few because look at industry that kills the many.
If your head were in front of the barrel you'd see it differently as well is my guess.

Why people don't see the beauty of that animals life, is just something I'll never understand I guess, and confounds me that others don't see this either.

Anyhow our opinions have been said, and we both made our points without threats and personnel attacks and for that I'm grateful.

 So nice to read your thoughts on this! :)

I totally see the beauty in animals, sometimes I very much envy their majestic & simple lifestyle. Unfortunately, this current age/culture has literally made me sick of certain foods. I cannot eat over-processed, gluten, MSG & chemical-filled junk. All the hormones & antibiotics in animals are equally destructive. I now have to look into raising my own animals for consumption. I raise my own food (quail/chicken) because I know I can more humanely raise/cull them than a mass-growing/processing facility could.

I truly wish with all my heart I could live off sunshine & dew drops, but for me it's just not possible. I'm always borderline anemic 'cause I try to reduce my intake of meat. :/

That said, if I were a food animal & some human wanted to eat me, you can be sure I'd try to struggle to get away. Better than just giving up outright. If I were killed to be eaten though, I'd hope they at least use every part & not waste.

First: this is my gift to you for the Holiday Season. It's the most important gift anyone can ever give, and I write about it so many times. This man says it better than I ever could so I'll let him say whats inside my heart for you this year.

Next......I don't know how you do it one single bit. If I knew those animals for two seconds I would have to starve first before taking their lives even if it is done with kindness.....I simply haven't the strength inside me.

For me to take the life of a duck or chicken or hog or whatever would mean I'd never be able to sleep again is my guess and that's no rapp on you at all but it just pointing to the weakness of myself on this subject. It's funny too in a way because I'm the guy that would take a total stranger and want to beat him up for cutting me off in traffic and showing me the F.U. finger. Him I feel like killing and the real killing I simply have no strength for.

I would start with raising a few animals to consume myself, and quickly would find myself over-run with great plains full of grazing pals that would have long ago pushed me into the poor-house.

Thank goodness I have no such disorders like yours, and that's ONE health battle I don't have to fight.

I hope nothing but good tings in your life and hope you just love this song I sent you.

Dennis, thank you. That was a very special gift; I could feel it right in my heart. Love, focus, intention [in whatever language it is called] goes beyond words - although some songs can get pretty close. :)

How I cull the birds (emotionally) was & is very complicated, though not for here. I will say the first culling literally traumatized me & gave terrible nightmares for weeks - when I could actually sleep. But I needed to cross that path in my life, direly so. I doubt there will ever be a time where I won't care about an animal with each culling. A part of me will die with each bird, just as a part of them lives on inside me. In that, I feel it gives me a healthier relationship with Nature [in all its aspects] than I had before.

I'm glad you have few food issues to worry about, that makes me very happy. I wish you many wonderful times ahead & if you ever want to chat please feel free to Note me!

what this crummy world has to offer me isn't much anymore. Even the communication I do is with the heart and spirit anymore. As for words......OMG just shoot me in the head and let me not have to listen to the lies and trash that everyone seems to speak these days. Most haven nothing I'm interested in at all and especially t.v. is void of almost anything good.

Now bring a child close and let them tell me their dreams or fears and I'm all in. Bring anyone that struggles in life and needs a hand or ear for a while.....and I'm all yours.

That's why I love the arts so much, because it speaks a language that most people don't know.

I wish I was better at death....dealing with it and the passing of others. I'm just awful and scared to go even though I know I'm forgiven and going to heaven. This earth can be so frigging beautiful and just gorgeous if men would leave it alone and stop killing everything and polluting everything or boxing it all up and selling it.

I'd like to stay around a good long time but not with he trash I have to live with all the time in this city.

I was born in the suburbs and lived in the wild every summer of my life in the wilderness of upper Michigan, with the deer and bears and such. I'm more comfortable with them more than the minorities I now I have to deal with everyday of my life.
I'm going to note you about this thought.

I've not actively watched TV in over a decade & I recommend avoiding it. There are plenty of other ways to learn about the world, humans, etc without subjecting oneself to mass-media & destructive learning.

As for death, sadly it's much of what I grew up with. I was also the only one who knew how to cook in the family, so processing already dead birds was something I was used to. It was the culling of something I raised which was the traumatic part. Considering, I felt animals were more family to me than the humans I was raised with.

If the wilderness calls to you, then go to it. Pour your heart into your dreams/goals. You may have to let go of certain habits/likes, to get to where you want to go, but wouldn't it be worth it in the end?

Looking forward to your Note. In the meantime, happy new year!
