Description

Here you have a portrait of Mael V. who worn my Haradrim costume for the Middle Earth Convention in Paris

We had a lot of fun at this event, meeting wonderful people, some of the actors involved in the Lord of the Rings, or The Hobbit

This event was organised by People Convention > www.facebook.com/People.Conven…

We were there thanks to Cospro > www.facebook.com/cosproartists… ;)

If you're interested in participating in one of their events, feel free to check out FB, perhaps that will lead you to meet part of the cast of those great movies =D

About the costume:
The proportions of all the elements seem to be very harmonious. In my opinion, nothing seems to be too bulky, clumsy, frail or flimsy. The diversity of materials make this costume very interesting. The Haradrim uniforms, tents and gear look very cool with their combination of cloth, leather and bamboo (or reed). This costume manages to embrace the original look as seen in the movies for example. The finish of the outfit looks very professional and makes the costume look very realistic. In addition, the headgear looks nicely done.

About the shot:
It's a nice and clean portrait and the model is posed just right. I think his expression matches the costume and the composition as a whole is als good.

If you wish to improve this costume (should you desire as such), I would suggest to do something about the main garment. Don't get me wrong, this looks awesome, but if you want to make it better I think You could focus on this point. It is a plain and large black area making the hand and shoulder gear look disconnected. I would reccomend some experimentation with adding either belts, chains, cloths, sashes and such. Any of these additions however, can make things look a bit too chaotic, so be careful. I am no expert so take it or leave it. This piece is already awesome.
