You did a nice job picking the location of the shot; it gives the viewer an idea of the open road that travelers inevitably find. If you were to find a place with more trees and dirt, it would give an even better feeling of the wilderness. The costume is amazing from the back, but the major impact comes from the shield. The detail on it is stunningly accurate! My only sizable critique is the body language. You've called this "To War" and war is a very solemn thing. It would be good if the way you held yourself showed this - perhaps marching would be better than simply striding. All in all, well done!

Je n'en ai pas ^^" (ou pour faire une petite histoire : perdu en bataille ^^" )
Si je re bossais sur ce personnage je rajouterais un peux d'armure je pense en effet =)
La maille rivetée, ronde donc bon,... y'a plus classe, mais c'est encore le plus logique pour du soldat. (la maille aboutée, ce serait pas assez résistant, et on a peut de pièces de fouille de maille aboutée, donc histoire comme pratique nous prouve bien des choses ^^ )

Dans mon experience on se cabosse le plus souvent aux cuisses et aux mains, mais tu me semble bien prtégé de ce poit de vue :D

Ça dépend, mais la main peut demeurer un peu exposée, comme le bas des jambes, d’où pour compléter des grèves simple, un miton de maille + un canon simple pour l'avant bras droit (en plus du casque) seraient relativement suffisant.
-On peut toujours aller encore plus vers le "tank" x)

Bien ou pas ^^
On a un choix toujours entre mobilité et protection/poids.
Plus on est mobile moins on a de poids; et plus on a de poids, plus on est protégé. En gros.

Si je reviens dessus ^^ mais peut être oui, merci.

Mais non, il faut fair assez de pompes, c'est tout! :D Enfin, moi je parle, mais la mienne est une lamellaire en acier, elle pèse bien moins qu'une cotte rivetée ^//^
En parlant de maille, il y a une astuce pour la faire peser plus sur les hanches et moins sur les épaules, ce qui diminue la gène, mais j'immagine que tu la connais déjà :D

Oui je connais, comme les astuces pour les meilleurs maintien sur les bras ;)
(Bah en moyenne de tout temps les combattant ont porté au max environ... 25-30 kilos , en gros.
